Purchase Process
We wish to make everything as streamlined and efficient as possible during the purchase process. A deposit will hold your kitten for you until you pick your kitten up.
Regardless if you wish to purchase a kitten today, or wait for your specific kitten to be born, please follow the directions below.

Instructions to Purchase Kitten
1. Contact Us
The first step in purchasing one of our kittens is to contact us. Please complete the Contact Us form and submit it to us. You will automatically be sent an email with a link to our free Kitten Application.
This initial process allows us to get to know who you are, and the kitten you are looking for.
Please add us to your Contact List so that our communications are not filtered.
2. Kitten Application
You should have received an email with a link to our Kitten Application automatically. If it isn't in your inbox, please check your spam folder.
Complete the Kitten Application and submit it to us for review and approval. We will contact you to let you know you're approved, or if we have further questions promptly.
Please add us to your Contact List so that our communications are not filtered.
3. Reserve Kitten
You may reserve any available kitten any time after Kitten Application has been approved.
Once you chose a kitten, let us know at info@royalmainecoons.com.
As soon as we receive your email, we will mark the kitten you chose as RESERVED and send you the necessary paperwork.

4. Kitten Cam Access
Once your paperwork is complete and your deposit is received, we will send you an invitation to our Kitten Cams.
You will be able to watch your kitten develop and grow anytime, 24/7. Each Kittening Suite has 3 live video cameras, and the main Cattery has multiple cameras. You will be able to watch them until the day they go home with you.
5. Preparing for Kitten
Your kitten will need specific food and supplies when it arrives at your home. A Getting Ready packet with this information will be emailed to you shortly after you Reserve your kitten.
This packet includes everything you will need to get ready, with links to most items.
If you have any questions about anything on our list, please feel free to ask.
6. Going Home
When your kitten is ready to go home (13-14 weeks), the balance will be due when you pick up your kitten.
Payments in cash, credit card and Apple Pay are accepted and can be made here at our Cattery.
You will receive a Go-Bag with medical records, food, water, a kitten bed, toys and more, all in a custom tote, plus a free gift for you!
We also include a new, very comfortable, Airline Approved kitten carrier.
Delivery Options
We recommend picking up your kitten. We encourage our customers drive or fly to use to pick-up their kitten.Asheville, NC is a wonderful destination to spend a long weekend then go home with your new baby.
If you are flying here to pick up your kitten from outside the US, it will need a veterinarian signed Health Certificate within 72 hours of the kitten flying. There is a $100 fee for this service. Flying domestically does not require a Health Certificate.
We also offer Courier recommendations. Prices vary greatly, depending on the service requested and availability. For the safety of our kittens, we do not allow cargo transportation. In-cabin and mobile transportation only. Courier services are paid to the courier directly by you. Most will require 50% to reserve and 50% on delivery. Available in the United States, Canada and Europe.
